Book design for Henry Miller’s Tropic of Cancer; a novel banned for its ‘candid sexuality’’, the bound cover references this sense of restriction (the way the reader chooses to tie the wax rope dictates how the book can be read) and the story becomes unreadable but through a series of digitally-printed profanities.
